Fun, interactive, and engaging learning experiences for kids
STEAMCamp gives kids an opportunity to experience and enjoy STEM learning, fostering creativity, problem-solving, and curiosity.
In the Spring of 2020, life as we all knew it, came to a halt. Schools were closed, camps were cancelled and children were isolated from the friends and events that they loved. It was during that time that the idea for this program was birthed. Children needed to be with their peers again. They needed to play, run, laugh, explore and learn. We launched our first camp in Fairhope, Alabama in June of 2020 to give them that opportunity. By Summer of 2022, we were in 13 locations, 2 countries and reached over 800 children.
As proud as we are of the accomplishments and reach, there are so many more kids who need us. The data is pouring in on the devastating impact that the Pandemic had on language development, social and emotional health and academic achievement. But we can’t meet these challenges with the same, one-size-fits-all approach of years past. Our program, while academically challenging and thought-provoking, is built upon the research-based conclusion that children learn and grow through exploration and experiences.
STEAMCamp for Kids is committed to reaching beyond the Gulf Coast and into all communities to give children what they deserve most, an exceptionally fun & inspiring childhood.
